Supporting the site
I will occasionally get asked how people can support my work. It feels nice to be asked, thanks! The truth is I don’t have a Patreon, SubscribeStar, etc for a few different reasons:
- I do this primarily for myself, and don’t want to feel obligated to produce content on any particular schedule, or at all;
- Most of my work repurposes the likenesses and content of others, and monetizing that seems sketchy at best;
- I don’t want my (or your) financial information associated with the site.
If you want to increase the chances I keep producing things in the in the future, the best thing you can do is just let me know that you enjoy what I do! Reach out on Reddit or using the links at the bottom of the page and tell me what aspects of my work you appreciate. I take that kind of feedback into consideration when deciding what to work on next.
Right now the site’s only operating expense is the annual domain name renewal. I pay that using Monero, and if you really want to donate XMR to help cover that cost, reach out and we can discuss it. Otherwise, just enjoy the site. :)
